Seedling Trees, Grass Seed, Supplies and Services

The Yuma County Conservation District is proud to offer seedling trees and shrubs for conservation purposes that are specifically selected for their hardiness and adaptability to the Eastern Plains of Colorado and Western Nebraska.
The seedling program allows farmers, ranchers, landowners and land managers to obtain trees at a nominal cost to help achieve conservation goals, including: growing shelterbelts, windbreaks and living snow fences; creating and enhancing wildlife habitat; protecting homes, cropland, livestock and highways; increasing erosion control and general conservation that promotes clean air and water.

OUR MISSION

Provide a legal organization to assist in the effort to accomplish maximum economical and beneficial use and conservation of all land, water, and plant resources by providing technical assistance, facilities, and equipment as is available.
