Native. Striking yellow flowers bloom for 3-4 weeks in June or July. Beekeepers consider coreopsis to be a good source for honey. Grows to 2 feet in height and may sprawl across the ground in search of full sun. Plant 12-18 inches apart in full sun. Prefers medium to dry soil or soil containing loam.
